OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO ROCK HALL

OPEN FOR CREW SIGNUP BELOW FOR SWEET DREAMS and SUNRISE

Participant count includes Skippers & Crew

Sweet Dreams: Skipper Albert C + 3 crew Sunrise: Skipper James Berrelli + 2 crew Akimbo: Skipper Tom Keller + 2 crew (FULL)

CRUISE PLAN (proposed):

Sail on Sweet Dreams, Sunrise, & Akimbo across the Bay to the historic fishing village of Rock Hall. Tie-up, visit Rock Hall. Enjoy happy hour and dinner on the waterfront ... a great place to watch the sunset over the Bay.

Option#1: Daytime Docking at  Waterman's Crab House is first come/first served. Alternative is option #2.  After dinner, motor 1 nm to Swan Creek, N. of Rock Hall Harbor, & anchor out for the night. BYO Breakfast aboard. Day Dock Fee: $50 (split)

Option #2: Dock overnight at Rock Hall Landing Marina in Rock Hall Harbor, adjacent to the Waterman's Crab House. BYO Breakfast aboard or ashore. Marina Fees: $120 (split)

Option #3: Anchor overnight in Swan Creek north of Rock Hall. BYO/Cookout dinner on board. Start your Sunday with a chilly swim at sunrise, BYO breakfast on-board, then sail back to the DSC.

Arrive back at DSC around 4pm, depending on Rock Hall departure time and wind.

SHARED COSTS:

DSC Overnight Boat Fee: $150/night split between crew, (<=$50/person/night)

Marina Slip Fee (Rock Hall Landing): $3.50/ft = $120/boat, split between crew = $30-40/person

BOAT FUEL FUND: suggested contribution $20/person

 

Float Plan
Depart DSC Docks 8am Saturday Oct 5 with Akimbo and Sunrise. Sail +/- 20nm due east across the Bay to Rock Hall harbor. Dock or anchor overnight(TBD). Sail back to DSC on Sunday. Arrive mid to late afternoon depending on wind.
